Asserting that his government toiled to formulate plans in the last 100 days to fulfill party promises, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday clarified that “KCR and TRS mark” administration would start soon and no political party would stand before its performance once it started.
Reacting to his party’s resounding victory in the Medak Lok Sabha by-election in Telangana Bhavan here, Chandrasekhar Rao said in spite of Goebel’s publicity by the Opposition parties against the TRS government, the people showed confidence in it in Medak by-election.
The Opposition parties relentlessly criticized the TRS government and its every action without any basis, he said.
Reminding that Telangana was a new State, the Chief Minister said the government needs a little time to set the goals of development and enact suitable laws to go ahead with development activity.
“If we make small mistakes at this level, the future generations would face big problems”, he said and made clear that his government would fulfill all its pre-poll promises at any cost.
The welfare schemes — pensions and housing --- would begin from Dasara festival. Between Dasara and Deepawali festivals, GOs would be released by the government on various welfare schemes, said. Even though the banks were not convinced with the government request, the State government would bear the cost and implement its promise of farmers’ loan waiver scheme, he added.
He alleged that the Opposition parties made a needless hue and cry over the recent comprehensive survey, CID inquiry into irregularities in housing schemes, demolition of unauthorized constructions in Hyderabad and deletion of ineligible ration cards.
He also announced that a regularization scheme would be launched to regularize illegal constructions in the city.
He advised the Opposition parties to realize their responsibilities and come out with constructive suggestions to the government.
