Jagan Manages To Retain Rebels

At last, wisdom seems to have prevailed upon YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has realized the importance of senior leaders and also keeping the flock together.

On Saturday, Jagan who conducted the meeting of YSRCP Parliamentary Party at his Lotus Pond residence, was seen in a cordial talk with senior leaders like Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, who were till the other day, were criticizing Jagan’s style of functioning.

What is more, even Kurnool MP Butta Renuka was happy with Jagan’s changed mind and she declared that she would stay put in the YSRC.

Jagan asked the party MPs to take up issues pertaining to both State of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the winter session of Parliament beginning on November 24.

“We will be raising the issues of farmers, irrigation, Railways  and other subjects and discuss with the concerned officials and ministers and play our part in the development process of both the states,’ Party leader in Lok Sabha Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy told reporters here on Saturday after the meeting.

Speaking about the defections, Mekapati claimed that SPY Reddy has taken a U-turn and did not leave the Party.

He said he met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu only to discuss the issues of his constituency.

“So is the case with Geetha. While SPY Reddy’s issue is sent to Privileges Committee, we will press for Geetha’s issue now and seek their disqualification,” he said.
