Is KCR Getting Frustrated With Criticism?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s unusual outburst against the opposition parties, particularly the Congress party, shows his utter frustration over the inept administration he is heading.

Though it is not uncommon for KCR to call the political rivals as “sannasulu, chavatalu, daddammalu” (monks, idiots and stupids), he crossed all limits of decency when he described the Congress party leaders as “pishachulu” (devils), “munda mopulu,” “naa kodukulu” and “pichi kukkalu” (mad dogs), while addressing the media a couple of days ago.

People enjoyed his abuses when he was leading the Telangana movement. But, KCR is now the chief minister of Telangana and he should have been more polished and decent in taking the opposition to task.

Especially, the word – mundamopulu – he had used while pointing out to former Speaker of Lok Sabha Meira Kumar, former union minister Jairam Ramesh and did not augur well to the stature of a chief minister.

“KCR does not come out of Pragati Bhavan and neither gives appointment to anyone. He did not meet even his own party MLAs. Even TRS MLAs were fed up with the arrogant nature of KCR and his family members,” TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy pointed out.

He said that the slang, language and subject which KCR used in Wednesday's press conference does not suit the stature of a Chief Minister. Even his body language and tone was full of arrogance laced with frustration, he said.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said if KCR hated Congress party, then why he took his entire family to New Delhi to get a picture with Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

"KCR is sitting on Chief Minister's chair due to the Telangana granted by the Congress party," he said.
