Ending speculation about attending Chandra Babu Naidu’s swearing in ceremony, YS Jagan has said that he will not be part of the filthy extravagance that is being passed off as celebration.
While Chandra Babu Naidu has been crying hoarse about lack of funds for the development of residual Andhra Pradesh, a whopping Rs 30 crore is being spent on the swearing in ceremony being held on June 8.
Jagan questioned as to why Babu was spending so much money when his administration was seeking donations as less as Rs 5000 to Rs 10000 for building the capital city in AP. Jagan reiterated he would not support such wastage of funds by attending the ceremony.
Speaking of his party and its future, Jagan said that they have come a long way from having just one MLA. Right now, YSRCP has 9 MPs and 70 MLAs and is the single largest opposition party in Andhra Pradesh.
