Kavitha Facing Heat Within Her Family?

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and state legislative council member Kalvakuntla Kavitha is reportedly facing growing pressure from within her own family, with the party seemingly distancing itself from her — allegedly under the instructions of her brother and BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR).

Though Kavitha has made no public criticism of her party, sources say she is deeply upset over what she perceives as a systematic internal campaign to sideline her.

A series of negative stories about her has recently appeared in select sections of the media, and Kavitha is said to suspect the involvement of certain family members in orchestrating the smear campaign.

Speaking to the media on Monday, Kavitha firmly rebutted the ongoing misinformation efforts, asserting that her primary focus remains on strengthening the party.

Addressing the criticism surrounding her “Samajika Telangana” (Social Justice for Telangana) campaign, Kavitha clarified that her statements were based on interactions with people across the 47 constituencies she toured, and reflected the current realities of the state.

She accused her detractors of deliberately spreading falsehoods to damage her image and dismissed the speculation about internal rifts within the BRS leadership.

“Wasn’t six months in jail enough suffering? Do you want me to suffer even more?” she asked, directly addressing those spreading malicious rumors.

Kavitha stated she is fully aware of who is behind the campaign against her and vowed to expose them when the time is right.

“When the time comes, the truth will come out. I hope the party takes note of this misinformation,” she said, warning that if provoked further, she would respond with greater force and determination.
