Finally, Pawan Attacks Naidu, Albeit Mildly

At last, power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan attacked the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh, albeit mildly if not strongly, on the issue of mysterious deaths of people due to kidney failures in Uddanam area in Srikakulam district.

Pawan addressed a public meeting at Uddanam, considered to be Konaseema of north-coastal Andhra, on Tuesday and found fault with Naidu government for not making any attempt to find the root cause of the problem.

“You spend hundreds of crores on pushkarams and thousands of crores on the capital. You can solve this problem by spending just Rs 100 crore, out of your Rs 6,000 crore health budget,” Pawan told Naidu.

He said it was unfortunate that Naidu had paid little attention to the deaths of people due to renal failures in Uddanam.

“You will be doing a big blunder, if you don’t take any action in this regard. Nobody in the government is talking about it and nobody has taken this to the notice of the Central government,” Jana Sena Party chief said.

Pawan set a deadline of 48 hours for the Naidu government to respond to the issue.

“On behalf of Jana Sena, we are appointing an expert committee to study the issue and we shall get the report within 15 days. I will meet the chief minister with this report and ask him to take immediate action. If he does not, I will convert it into a mass movement and take up the struggle,” he warned.
