KCR's decision to tax vehicles entering Telangana from Andhra Pradesh is downright atrocious and illegal.
Smacking his lips at the prospect of netting another Rs 500 crore yearly from this barbaric tax, he even got the Transport Minister of Telangana to cancel a meeting with his AP counterpart on this issue saying the decision was non-negotiable.
The matter has now been put in front of the ‘High Court’. When Hyderabad is the common capital of both States for a period of ten years, how can vehicles from AP then be taxed for entering their own capital?
After the common period is over, it would be fair to impose any taxes these people want. But until then, it is absurd to burden the vehicle owners with further taxation. KCR’s politics of vendetta against AP is disgusting to say the least and he would do well to remember that good times do not last forever.
The day of reckoning is not far off! But one thing is clear! Relationships between the people of both states will only deteriorate under KCR.
