Cuddapah: Former minister D L Ravindra Reddy, who had virtually gone into political oblivion after the disastrous performance in the last elections, is now back in action.
He said time had come to launch an agitation for development of Rayalaseema region.
Speaking to the media at Proddatur in the district, Ravindra Reddy alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will neglect the region if the people are not united.
He wanted to know whether the Chief Minister has brought any industry to the Rayalaseema region. It was unfortunate that Chandrababu Naidu has neglected Rayalaseema where he took birth in the region, he added.
There was rampant corruption in Revenue and police departments, he alleged and called upon the people to remain united for launching an agitation for the development of Rayalaseema.
