Diggy Booked For His Hate Comments!

The Hyderabad police on Tuesday booked a case against All India Congress Committee general secretary Digvijay Singh for making hate comments in his twitter against madrassas, accusing them of spreading hatred.

Dabeerpura Police filed an FIR on Tuesday, following a complaint from Majlis Bachao Tehreek leader Amjadullah Khan.

“We have booked a case under section 295 A of IPC which is deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs, against Digvijay Singh,” said police.

On February 21, the Congress leader had tweeted, “Is there a difference between Madarsas and Saraswati Shishu Mandir Schools run by RSS? I don't think so. Both spread Hatred. (sic)."

Soon after his comment he had faced criticism from several Muslim leaders and madrassa representatives.

“However, everybody reacted to his comment, but I was amazed that nobody filed a complaint against him. For little things, Muslim religious leaders conduct protests but there were no reactions from their side as well.

Even the madrasa representatives who reacted, did not come forward to file a complaint. He has been showing to the world that he supports Muslims, but now he finally revealed his real face,” Amjad added.
