Responding to the statement of Ponnala Lakshmaiah that he had gone back on his word of merging the TRS with the Congress Party, KCR shot back saying, “Did I give it in writing that I will merge my Party?”. There are video clippings available of KCR saying that he would merge his Party once Telangana became a reality.
Now asking whether he had given it in writing is completely unacceptable.
Tomorrow if he comes to power and does not fulfill any promises he has made to the public, if questioned he will have the same answer to all questions.
“You promised to make a Dalit, the first Chief Minister of Telangana?” KCR’s answer: “Did I give it in writing?”
“You promised to make a Muslim, the deputy CM of Telangana?” “Did I give it in writing?”
“You promised 50 lakh jobs to Telangana?” “Did I give it in writing?”
“You promised to seize the assets of Ramoji Rao and Chandrababu?” “Did I give it in writing?”
“You are the worst ever leader on the face of this planet1”! “Did it give it in writing?” KCR. For the last question, you don’t need to give it in writing.
