Desam MLA Roughs Up MPTC Son?

Desam MLA Roughs Up MPTC Son?

It looks like the highhanded behaviour of the Telugu Desam Party leaders continue to go unabated, despite repeated appeals by the party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to them to mend their ways.

In the latest incident, TDP legislator from Gannavaram Vallabhaneni Vamsi is learnt to have roughed up the son of a woman MPTC member just because he gatecrashed into his (MLA’s) chamber.

According to reports reaching here, Ramavarappadu mandal parishad territorial constituency member Aruna went to the MLA’s office along with her son to invite Vamsi to inaugurate a temple constructed in her native village. Even as she was talking to the MLA, her son who had been waiting for a long time outside the chamber, went inside to tell something to her.

This has reportedly enraged Vamsi, who shouted at the MPTC member’s son for entering the chamber without his permission.

Abusing the boy in a filthy and unparliamentary language, Vamsi also manhandled him and tried to neck him out. The woman MPTC member got shocked at this and tried to prevent the MLA, but he abused her also in vulgar language.

An agitated MPTC member informed the same to her Yadava community leaders, who staged a dharana at the TDP office demanding party to take action against the MLA. So far, nothing has happened.

There several instances of the TDP leaders behaving in aggressive and rude manner against the common people. Greatandhra.com also mentioned this in its earlier story: power goes to the heads of TDP leaders.

Hope wiser sense prevails on them in the coming days, lest they get rejection from the people in the next elections!
