Power Goes To Head Of Desam Leaders!

It looks like power has gone to the heads of children of the Telugu Desam Party leaders more than the leaders themselves.

We have come across the alleged stalking of a woman by Sunil, son of former minister Ravela Kishore Babu in Hyderabad some time ago; we have seen former TDP MLA A Lokeshwar Rao’s son Vijaya Krishna harassing an NRI woman in Penamaluru in Vijayawada; besides of course the unruly behaviour of TDP leaders themselves like Chintamaneni Prabhakar, J C Prabhakar Reddy, Kesineni Nani, Bonda Uma and Payyavula Kesav.

On Monday, it was yet another incident of brazen display of VIP power by TDP MP from Hindupur NImmala Kishtappa’s son Nimmala Ambarish.

He was caught on camera vandalising a toll booth at Bagepalli in Karnataka along with his associates.

Ambarish and his associates were travelling from Hindupur to Bengaluru Airport at around 8.30 am, when they were stopped by the toll plaza people who asked them to pay toll fee.

The MP’s son got angry for being stopped at the toll plaza. He started arguing with the toll plaza staff, saying that he had an MP pass and hence he need not pay the fee. After a heated argument, the MP’s son along with his associates attacked the toll counter.

Following the complaint filed by the staff of the toll plaza, Ambarish along with four of his associates have been detained by Bagepalli police.

“They broke the window and computers in the counter and also threatened the staff members,” the police said.

Definitely, such incidents will bring bad name not only to the individual leaders, but also the TDP as a whole in general and party president N Chandrababu Naidu in particular.
