Sivaramakrishnan Committee has submitted its report and the suggestions are not in sync with the plans of Andhra Pradesh government.
To deal with the situation tactically, AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu has decided to hold an all-party meeting to come to a consensus on the issue, it is being widely rumoured.
Since the issue has been pending for a long time and due to immense pressure from people to finalise a place, Babu has come with the plan to go ahead with the process.
The government is treading carefully as there is raising demand from Rayalaseema to develop the new capital city in Seema.
It is said that MLAs and MPs from Kurnool and Anantapur are under immense pressure to bring the capital to Rayalaseema.
Given this scenario, deputy chief minister KE Krishna Murthy is said to have advised Babu to defer the issue for some time instead of taking a decision immediately. Babu has already instructed all ministers to stick by any common decision taken by the cabinet.
Meanwhile, political analysts are waiting to see how Babu will attain a common opinion on the new capital city, which is going to be between Vijayawada-Guntur in all likelihood.
The cabinet will also discuss the issue of consensus during its meeting on September 1.
