'Briefed me' - Most Irritating Word For Naidu!

One might remember how a particular dialogue has turned out to be a big trouble for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during the vote-for-note episode.

Interacting with a nominated MLA to seek his support to the TDP candidate in MLC elections, Naidu used the words: “Manavallu briefed me...” (Our people briefed me).

As if to remind him of his own dialogue, a section of English media carried the same words quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had an interaction with Naidu the other day.

While tweeting on the meeting, Modi said: “Naidu briefed me on the drought conditions in AP.” An English daily pointed out that the Prime Minister’s comment reminded media and political leaders the similar dialogue used by Naidu in the past.

The daily further irritated Naidu saying that Modi had referred to him as just CM@NCBN, while calling Telangana Chief Minister as KCR garu in his tweets. The daily wonders whether these references from Modi had any other meaning.
