Brickbats for Pavan from both the sides!

Power star-turned-politician Pavan Kalyan might have thought he had given his 'intellectual' piece of mind to the warring States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, governed by Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Telugu Desam Party respectively. But, in the process, he has antagonised both the sides.

On Tuesday, a day after the much-publicised press conference of Pavan Kalyan to warn TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of a civil war between the people of both the States, he received brickbats from both the sides.

Irked by his comments, the TDP MPs from Andhra Pradesh lashed out at him for his comments that they were at the receiving end, while TRS chief was attacking them.

“He supported us during the elections but this doesn’t mean that Pavan has all the rights to criticise us. Even we are trying our best to get ‘Special Status’ and a good package to Andhra Pradesh state,” said an MP.

On the other hand, TRS MP from Peddapalli Balka Suman also hit back at the Jana Sena Party founder. He said there was absolutely no meaning in Pavan’s criticism on phone tapping. There was enough evidence in the Revanth Reddy case of his wrongdoing, while there was no clue, whatsoever, of the phone tapping of TDP leaders' phones.

“How can Pavan ignore cash for vote and comment on phone tapping,” he asked.

He also advised Pavan Kalyan to question Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the cash for vote case.
