Firing another salvo against Telangana Congress leaders, party senior leader and MP Palvai Goverdhan Reddy on Tuesday alleged that the Congress party has failed to play its opposition rule in Telangana State. He said the Telangana Congress lacks real leadership.
Speaking to media persons here, Palwai said that the genuine and honest leaders were sidelined during the regime of former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy and they were replaced with corrupt leaders.
He said that the sidelining of honest leadership stopped the development process as corrupt leaders indulged in large scale corruption.
He said that the Congress would have to promote genuine leaders if it wishes to make a comeback in Telangana.
He charged that K Jana Reddy failed as leader of Opposition. He demanded that CLP deputy leader T Jeevan Reddy be elevated to replace Jana Reddy.
Palvai also predicted that TRS Government will not survive more than two years.
He alleged that TRS leaders including ministers, MLAs are not happy with the government Since Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao not taking them into confidence on governance the government may collapse in two years he said.
