Babu Gives Reason For TDP MLAs To Rejoice

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu has been claiming that his a democratic, political rule and he appears to have kick-started the process.

He okayed the file which says that the ruling party MLAs and ministers can nominate people of their choice to take up government works up to Rs 5 lakh.

Announcing the same, Babu said he was well-aware of the pressure that public representatives face, which is why he decided to bail them out by allowing them to recommend and suggest a few people for some works.

Babu added that he had given instructions to the concerning officers regarding his decision.

However, Babu was quick to add that he also expected his MLAs and ministers to behave responsibly and ensure that they bring no harm to the party image and AP government.

In fact, Babu has given his nod to continue the orders passed by the earlier government allowing the MLAs and ministers to allot government works to their nominees running up to Rs 5 lakh. Soon, a massive drive to transfer government officials at various levels will happen, revealed Babu.

Coming back to the issue of nominees, political analysts feel it simply means allotting works to ‘yes men’ of MLAs and ministers.

And there is another loophole here which can be used to suit the requirements of MLAs and ministers. For example, a huge project can be divided into smaller works of Rs 5 lakh each and all of them can be allocated to the same group of people. If the transfer of officials is also done based on recommendations by the MLAs and ministers, then they will surely have a reason to celebrate.

In the past, during Congress’ term, TDP MLAs vehemently criticized the government for their partisan behavior. Now, the TDP is doing exactly what the Congress had done in the past. Is this political rule, Babu garu?
