Former Information Minister D K Aruna seems to have become active in the Telangana Congress these days and she might even throw her hat into the ring for the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee post.
On Thursday, Aruna hinted her intention to take the PCC chief job, if offered. “Let there be a vacancy for the PCC chief post. I will reveal my plans then,” she told media.
Accusing the TRS Government of not fulfilling a single promise that it made with the people, Aruna said that the Telangana Congress is planning to launch agitation across the State.
She alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was making empty promises and not a single promise has been fulfilled so far.
She said that the condition of her native Mahabubnagar district was worse. Although KCR represented the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha segment from 2009-2014, he brought no development for the district.
The Mahabubnagar district remained ignored even after KCR became the Chief Minister, she alleged. She said that the district was not given any representation even in the Telangana cabinet.
