If reports from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi sources are to be believed, TDP MLA from Kukatpally Krishna Rao is most likely to jump the fence to join the ruling party any time.
According to sources, Krishna Rao reportedly held discussions with the TRS leaders to pave way for his admission into the pink party.
In the wake of reports that Krishna Rao has decided to defect to the ruling party for political survival and greener pastures, TDP supremo and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s rising son Nara Lokesh Naidu reportedly spoke to Krishna Rao and cajoled him to remain in the party. However, Krishna Rao claimed that Lokesh spoke to him and advised to call on Chandrababu Naidu before taking a plunge.
The Kukatpally MLA has claimed that the important leaders of the Telangana TDP unit were in touch with the TRS leadership to pave way for their entry into the ruling party.
He also claimed that the Telangana TDP leaders remained calm even as he told them about his decision to leave the party. He said he had told the TRS mediators that he would join the ruling party if the government reincorporated 26 castes in the list of Backward Classes.
Krishna Rao reportedly said he has immense pressure over the burning problems in his constituency. Several TDP leaders reportedly advised Krishna Rao to take a final decision keeping his political future in mind.
