NATA Mourns the Tragic Demise of RC Mr. Arun Sayam

NATA deeply mourns the tragic death of Arun Kumar Sayam, a Regional Coordinator in Houston. Arun Sayam (37) passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Katy Houston, Texas.

Arun’s body was found early in the morning in front of his home, according to neighbors who notified the police. The cause of death is not known, but neighbors suspecting it as heart attack. The news shocked the family, friends and the Telugu community in Houston.
 
Arun Sayam was from Nampally Hyderabad. He worked as IT professional for many years in Houston, Texas.  He is survived by wife, who is also an IT professional, and two loving children-- a 5-years-old daughter and a 5-months baby son.
 
NATA is providing all the needed help and assistance to the family and is in the process of arranging to send the deceased body of Arun Sayam to India, said NATA Community services chair Dr. Samba Reddy, who is coordinating with the team and authorities.
 
NATA Political chair Manohar Medi and RVP Durga Prasad are personally monitoring the situation and are in constant touch with Arun family. They are working tirelessly helping the family and coordinating with relatives. CS Co-chair Dr. Rajender Aparasu, BOD Girish Reddy, and local RCs have come forward to help in this task.
 
NATA President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased member. NATA Advisor Dr. Malla Reddy is providing guidance to the team and announced any support needed to the Arun’s family.
 
Arun Sayam served NATA in various capacities. As regional coordinator, he assisted the NATA Houston team in conducting community activities and programs. As co-chair of Web & Communications committee, he provided great help during the 1st NATA Convention in Houston in 2012.  NATA is planning to hold a memorial service to commemorate his life.
