While former US President Donald Trump may have lost favor with some NRIs and Indian students during his second term due to stricter immigration policies, his business presence in India continues to expand.
The latest addition to his growing real estate portfolio is coming up in Hyderabad’s upscale Kokapet area.
Construction of the new Trump Towers, expected to have over 63 floors, is slated to begin between August and September this year at Golden Mile — one of the city’s most premium real estate zones. Once completed, it will be among the tallest Trump-branded buildings in India.
Spanning four acres, the project is a joint venture between Tribeca Developers (the Trump Organization’s official partner in India) and local builder Ira Realty. The estimated investment stands at ₹3,500 crore.
India currently houses four Trump Towers — in Mumbai (Worli), Pune, Kolkata, and Gurgaon. The Mumbai tower, at 78 floors, is the tallest of the lot.
In November 2024, the Trump Organization announced plans to develop six additional projects across India — including in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Noida, and Pune — making India the only country outside the US with such a significant Trump-branded footprint.
“We are in the final stages of securing approvals and expect clearances in the next two weeks. We aim to launch the project by August or September,” said Narsi Reddy, founder and managing director of Ira Realty, which has major residential and commercial projects across Kokapet, Kollur, and the Financial District.
Designed to reflect the global Trump Towers aesthetic, the Hyderabad towers will feature a modern glass-and-chrome façade. A prominent Indian architect has been brought on board for the project, though the developer has yet to disclose the name.
Luxury Amenities, 400 Units, and a Yacht-Inspired Layout
In keeping with Trump Towers' signature style, the amenities will be centrally located between the two towers.
“The 48-foot-high amenities block, resembling the deck of a ship, will feature squash courts, a clubhouse, and more, connecting the two residential towers,” said Reddy. Construction is expected to take around four to four and a half years.
The twin towers will offer over 400 luxury residences, with unit prices starting at ₹4 crore and going up to ₹5 crore. Flats will be capped at a maximum of 5,000 square feet, priced at roughly ₹15,000 per square foot — making this one of the most exclusive residential offerings in the region.
