In a major crackdown, the Mira Road police from Maharashtra have uncovered a large-scale drug operation in Telangana, seizing drugs reportedly worth Rs 12,000 crore.
The operation followed earlier arrests of a 12-member group, which helped police trace the industrial drug manufacturing setup.
The raid targeted Waghdevi Labs in Hyderabad’s Cherlapally Industrial Area, where massive volumes of Mephedrone were being produced.
Authorities also seized 32,000 litres of chemical liquids and machinery used to manufacture drugs, highlighting the scale and sophistication of the cartel’s operations.
This bust aligns with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s stringent anti-drug policies.
These measures have empowered police to track and dismantle illicit drug networks, reinforcing the state’s commitment to curbing drug trade and related criminal activities.
