'Even If KCR Forgives, We Won't Spare Yellow Media'

'Even If KCR Forgives, We Won't Spare Yellow Media'

Former minister and MLA Jagadish Reddy made fiery remarks targeting sections of the media, particularly what he termed "yellow media," declaring that even if former Chief Minister KCR forgives them, his supporters will not.

“What happened at Maha News yesterday was not an attack — it was a protest,” he said, referring to the recent incident involving the news channel.

“There are two or three more [media houses] — we’ll deal with them too. Our response will be different. No police can protect you,” he warned.

“Where is this arrogance coming from? Who gave you this boldness? Just don’t assume we’ve declared war — but remember, our patience has limits.”

He accused certain media houses of functioning like "slaughterhouses" under the guise of journalism, indulging in character assassination rather than reporting.

“Some people are running these so-called media houses just to destroy individual reputations. If you think you can write whatever you want in the name of media, who do you think will tolerate it?”

He also alleged that the attacks on certain media channels stem from the anger that KCR separated Telangana from Andhra.

“For a year now, your loyalists have been running the government. But those media slaughterhouses — we won’t spare them,” he concluded.
