BJP Rules Out Any Understanding With TRS

Bharatiya Janata Party will never have any kind of understanding with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, despite TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s overtures towards the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

This was made clear by former minister and BJP national general secretary D K Aruna on Thursday. Speaking to reporters, she said the chief minister was trying to hoodwink the people of the state by creating an impression that there was some understanding between the BJP and the TRS.

“His plan is to confuse the people and see that his party would remain in power for another term. But the BJP will not allow him to play such tricks. We shall continue to fight against the TRS government,” she said.

Aruna pointed out that the Centre would definitely order probe into the acts of omission and commission of the KCR government in the state.

“There will be inquiries and punishments to the guilty,” she asserted.

She expressed confidence that the BJP would win the Huzurabad by-elections hands down.

“Our next target is to win the Huzurabad seat. There is nobody who can match the popularity of Eatala Rajender in the constituency. We shall fight against the vengeance politics in Telangana by winning the seat,” she said.

Meanwhile, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay announced that former minister Eatala Rajender would join the BJP on June 14.

“Rajender, along with former MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy and former Karimnagar zilla parishad chairman Tula Uma, would join the BJP in the presence of national president J P Nadda,” he said.
