TDP's ploy to use Ambedkar to get rid of Call Money in Assembly!!

The ruling Telugu Desam Party on Thursday tried to take shelter under architech of Indian Constitutiion Dr B.R.Ambedkar to escape from Opppsition YSRCP's onslaught in the AP Legislative Assembly on the TDP leader's involvement in call money sex racket in Vijayawada.

The monsoon session of the Assembly began on a stormy note after YSRCP demanded a debate on call money sex racket which brought disreputed to entire Andhra Pradesh.

The YSRCP moved an adjourment motion on the issue but Speaker Kodela Shivaprasad disallowed it.

Anticipaiting trouble for TDP in the Assembly on call money sex racket, the ruling TDP came out with a clever ploy to take up discussion on the preparatons for the 125th birth anniversary of the father of Indian Constitution during the Business Advisory Council (BAC) meeting.

However, YSRCP members demanded a debate on call money sex racket first. Legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Speaker Kodela expressed anger at YSRCP for blocking the debate on Ambedkar.

But YSRCP chief YS Jagam refuted the criticism and said the entire nation respects Ambedkar and his party is always in the forefront to pay tributes to the father of Indian Constitution.

"The government is using that great man for its political mileage and to divert a serious issue in the Assembly. Ambedkar's soul will be pained at this," he said.

Jagan Mohan insisted that why did the police not even question the Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad who was touring foreign countries along with the main accused in the scam Venigalla Srikanth.

"Both were traveling together when the scam was exposed, but the MLA came back leaving the culprit behind. Being a ruling party MLA, how can he help the accused to escape? The government needs to give an explanation on this," Jagan demanded.
