Sivaji Faces BJP Ire, Misses Flight!

Actor-turned-activist Sivaji, who has been making serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership in general and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular, had to face the ire of the BJP activists at Gannavaram airport near Vijayawada on Wednesday.

As a result, Sivaji had to miss the flight to Hyderabad, as he was stuck up amidst the BJP workers and engaged in an argument with them.

A large number of BJP workers came to the Gannavaram airport to receive former minister and newly-elected state unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana, who was coming from Delhi. At the same time, Sivaji also came to the airport to take a flight to Hyderabad.

On seeing the actor, the BJP activists raised slogans and tried to attack him for making derogatory comments against Narendra Modi.

Sivaji was taken aback but he, too, picked up the argument with them saying he would not stop fighting against the Centre and Modi for denying special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

“I will continue my fight till my last breath,” he said.

As the situation appeared taking a violent turn, the police quickly intervened and whisked Sivaji away from the BJP workers. They sent him away in a car back to Vijayawada. As a result, he had to cancel his flight ticket to Hyderabad.
