The entire Indian media is buzzing about reports that Indians and Bangladeshis can now obtain a UAE Golden Visa for Rs 23 lakh (AED 100,000).
Surprisingly, no one has questioned why only Indians and Bangladeshis are included in this alleged offer.
Adding to the uncertainty, despite widespread media coverage and consultant-led promotions, there has so far been no standalone official announcement from any UAE government body confirming this INR 23 lakh (AED 100,000) lifetime Golden Visa scheme.
Gulf News explicitly states, “As of now, there has been no official statement from the UAE government or its recognized channels confirming that Indian nationals can apply for a Golden Visa at Dh100,000 without property or business investment.”
Likewise, there has been no press release from the ICP, GDRFA, Ministry of Interior, or the UAE Cabinet announcing any new visa category at this price point.
The ICP’s official website outlines the existing 10-year Golden Visa options — granted through nomination, investment, or exceptional talent. It makes no mention of a new AED 100,000 Golden Visa specifically for Indian nationals.
Some media outlets — such as India Today, NDTV, Smartprix, Zeenews, and StartAnyBusiness — describe a supposed pilot Golden Visa program for select Indians and Bangladeshis, offering lifetime residency at AED 100,000.
These reports mention processing through authorised intermediaries such as Rayad Group, VFS, or One Vasco.
However, an official confirmation from a recognized UAE government authority is still awaited to validate the legitimacy of this scheme.
In summary, the current media buzz is based on reports of a nomination-based pilot program, possibly backed by licensed visa agents — but no direct or formal announcement has been made by any UAE federal authority.
Therefore, it is advisable to proceed with caution, and to rely only on official UAE platforms or certified intermediaries when considering this pathway.
