YSRC To Lose Lone Telangana MP Seat?

YSRC To Lose Lone Telangana MP Seat?

It looks like stars are going against YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy these days.

Even as he has been crying hoarse over the poaching of his party MLAs by the ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh, his lone MP from Telangana is said to be toying with the idea of defecting to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

According to sources, YSR Congress party MP from Khammam Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who is also party president in the Telangana State, is likely to join the TRS sooner or later.

Ponguleti has excellent relations with the TRS leaders in Khammam district. He has been under pressure from the TRS leaders to join the party, since it would strengthen the party in Khammam district.

Moreover, Ponguleti is also feeling inconvenience in getting the works done in his constituency without the support of the TRS. So, he has come to the decision that it would be better to join the TRS, rather than maintaining friendly relationship with it by continuing in the YSR Congress.

Sources said Ponguleti might join the TRS soon after the completion of the Khammam municipal corporation elections.
