Why Yes For BJP, No For TJAC?

Why Yes For BJP, No For TJAC?

The permission granted to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s youth wing BJYM to hold a public meeting at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium in the name of Nirudyoga Samara Bheri (War cry of the unemployed) on Sunday evening has raised many an eyebrow.

It was on the same unemployment issue that the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has applied for its public meeting Koluvula Kotlata (Fight for jobs) at the same place last week, which was later postponed to November 30.

However, the Telangana government denied permission to the TJAC to organise the public meeting on the pretext that it would create law and order problem in the city which was gearing up for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit and Metro rail inauguration on November 28, which would be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US president’s daughter Ivanka Trump.

The TJAC wondered how it would cause the law and order issue, since the meeting would be held on the outskirts of the city, but the police denied permission. Finally, he had to move the High Court and get permission to hold the rally on December 4.

Now, the question is why did the TRS government give permission to the BJP to hold its public meeting on Sunday?

The answer is simple: The BJP seems to be cosying up with the TRS of late, as per the directions of its central leadership, which has apparently dropped its guns in Telangana.

Instead, there is a talk that the BJP might even come to a secret understanding with the TRS and the TDP to stop the Congress party to gain any advantage in Telangana.
