The case of beautician Sirisha’s suicide and the subsequent suspicious death of Kukunoolpalli sub-inspector P Prabhakar Reddy has turned more intriguing as it is progressing.
As per the police investigation, Sirisha had an affair with her boss – photographer Rajiv and was upset when he decided to marry another woman.
Rajiv’s friend Shravan tried to help resolve the dispute by involving Prabhakar Reddy. Sirisha got offended when the SI tried to molest her and on their way home, Rajiv beat her.
After their return to Hyderabad, Sirisha committed suicide.
So, the dispute is between Sirisha and Rajiv, while Prabhakar Reddy tried to take advantage of her weakness.
After Sirisha committed suicide, the SI thought she might have dragged his name and hence, he shot himself dead.
Going by this police version, one wonders how Sravan has become the prime accused (A-1).
Sources say the answer is simple: Sravan is a prominent NSUI leader and has connections with all senior leaders of the party, including Komatireddy brothers, Uttam Kumar Reddy and V Hanumanth Rao.
The police, in fact, leaked the pictures of Sravan taken with top Congress leaders to the media, so as to attack the Congress party below the belt.
If the Congress leaders allege that the police were hiding the real culprits, the government can turn the tables on them saying the prime accused is a Congress leader!
