What's wrong in TDP leader touching KCR feet?

Within hours after making serious comments against Seemandhra Telugu Desam Party counterparts for succumbing to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana TDP leader A Revanth Reddy started receiving brickbats.

The strong criticism against Revanth was from Paritala Sriram, son of Andhra minister Paritala Sunitha, whose marriage triggered all the trouble in the Telangana TDP. In his posting on his Facebook page, Sriram targeted Revanth for being too ambitious to become the chief minister and blaming the party leaders from Seemandhra.

“KCR is a good old friend of our family. When he came to my marriage and blessed me, I touched his feet. What’s wrong in it? Why do you view even a marriage in political angle? Didn’t you ever invite leaders of rival parties to weddings and other functions in your family? Didn’t you ever go the weddings of other party leaders?” he asked.

Sriram alleged that for the last one year, Revanth had been systematically trying to build up an anti-TRS forum by joining hands with the Congress party and when everything came under his control, he was now finding excuses to desert the TDP.

“You are creating an impression the Congress party is stronger than the TDP in Telangana,” he said.

Another Telangana TDP leader and party general secretary Aravind Kumar Goud also found fault with Revanth Reddy for making allegations against Andhra TDP leaders in a bid to cover up his attempts to join the Congress party.

“Nothing will happen to the TDP, even if Revanth leaves. It continues to remain a strong political party,” Goud said.
