A few leaders of Andhra Pradesh BJP have been trying to grow and compete with the ruling Telugu Desam Party in recent times.
But Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu has given a slight nudge to them by saying that they must remember that TDP is an ally in the state and not an opposition party.
He advised the leaders not to create differences with BJP by raking up issues concerning the capital.
With some Guntur leaders making strong comments about the land procurement process under the land pooling scheme by AP government, Venkaiah made these statements.
He said that the welfare of farmers must be the primary objective during the development of new capital. Venkaiah said that Chandra Babu Naidu and his team of ministers are totally focused on the same.
But it was interesting to hear Venkaiah say that it pained him to watch verdant farm lands being cleared to develop new capital.
