Efforts are on to get ex-minister Tummala Nageswara Rao into Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
Presently, Tummala is a senior leader in Telangana TDP and has a strong presence in the Khammam district politics.
T Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhara Rao had a special meeting with Tummala and this has become the latest topic of discussion in political circles.
Both the CM and Harish Rao are trying hard to get Tummala into TRS as they want to strengthen their presence in Khammam district. Accordingly, Tummala has been approached once again.
Meanwhile, Tummala is said to have told them that he would get back to them after discussing the issue with his party cadre.
So, speculation is rife that Tummala might defect into TRS. If he was firm on turning down the offer, then he would have conveyed the same to KCR. Since he asked for time, many feel it won’t be long before he joins TRS.
On the other hand, ex minister P Janardhan Reddy’s daughter Vijaya Reddy will be bidding good bye to YSRCP and joining TRS soon.
