TJAC To Become A Voluntary Organisation

Efforts are on to make Telangana Joint Action Committee which played a key role in Telangana agitation, a voluntary organization.

TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram has announced during a media interview that they have been trying to revamp the organization to work for people.

He said people will not forget the role played by JAC and added that people knew what JAC was capable of doing.

Kodandaram said that JAC must continue its efforts and work for people now.

Though a separate Telangana state has been formed, he said that JAC has two main goals now. One was to be alert regarding the efforts being made by Andhra settlers to exert pressure on the functioning of the government and secondly, to work towards solving the problems of Telangana people.

Kodandaram also mentioned that JAC now wants to function as a bridge between people and the government. For same, the organization will strive to make the voice of the common man heard, he said.

Right now, it is being hotly debated as to how JAC will function after it becomes a voluntary organization.
