Poor Danam Nagender! All his plans have gone awry. Monday was when he was to announce his joining the TRS in a grandiose manner. His supporters had got banners, posters and every other thing ready for the grand event. But, he couldn't get the required assurance from KCR.
He wanted KCR to offer him the pink scarf in the presence of the media. KCR wanted him to be satisfied with K Keshava Rao. He wanted an assurance over Mayor's post. The TRS flatly refused.
Left with no option, Danam Nagender had to rush to Shabbir Ali to plead for some face saving. The Congress finally agreed and Nagender saying one more time that he will sink or swim with the Congress.
A case of sour grapes indeed.
