The organizers of the beef festival are inviting top politicians and intellectuals. They say that the festival is intended to be an assertion of the freedom of a person to eat whatever he likes.
Akbaruddin Owaisi has also come down on attempts to ban beef saying that diet is a personal choice of the individual.
Now the students who are planning the pork festival have also extended an invitation to Akbaruddin to grace the occasion.
Needless to say, he will not turn up for the event. At the same time, he cannot come out against the pork festival either if he believes that diet is an individual affair.
