Yesteryears award-winning actress Sarada has expressed concern that she was not well received as a politician, due to which she could not have a successful political career.
Though she reigned as a popular actress for many years, she could not get a foothold in politics.
Despite being a Lok Sabha member for 17 months, she says she could not get herself to adjust to the dirty world of politics. She even tried to contest for the Lok Sabha seat from Venkatagiri, but lost.
Presently, she has retired from public life and is living in Chennai.
But we have to say one thing. One cannot come into politics for short term.
It requires full commitment and lots of time. Looks like she is totally disillusioned with politics for now.
However, politics is a totally different ball game from films!
