Sai Reddy knows when Jagan goes to jail?

As the Special Investigation Team of Andhra Pradesh police are taking swift action in the liquor scam case, speculations are rife over the possible arrest of YSR Congress party president and former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the case.

Already several key individuals have been named as accused, including: YSRCP MP P Mithun Reddy, former IT advisor to Jagan government Raj Kesireddy, SPY Agros Ltd director Sajjala Sridhar Reddy, retired IAS officer K Dhanunjay Reddy, Jagan’s former OSD Krishna Mohan Reddy and Balaji Govindappa, Director of Bharathi Cements.

Some of them have already been arrested and sent to jail. The court on Thursday gave them to police custody for four days, for interrogation.

Speculation is rife that the next target of the government is none other Jagan Mohan Reddy and he may be arrested anytime.

In fact, Jagan recently responded, saying he is not afraid of arrest and is residing in Vijayawada. But nobody knows when it happens.

However. Jagan’s former aide and ex-Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy is learnt to have got the information on the arrest of Jagan in the liquor scam.

According to sources close to the former MP, who recently visited Tirupati, the CID may arrest Jagan before June 10.

Sai Reddy has reportedly informed his close aides about the potential timeline.

Though he has not made any public statements, he is said to have warned members within the party — especially those in Jagan’s inner circle — against targeting him.

Since then, the YSRCP has been maintaining a low profile on the matter. The YSRCP leaders have remained silent on his alleged insider information regarding Jagan’s possible arrest.

Jagan himself dismissed Vijayasai Reddy as a “rogue MP sold out to the coalition,” and questioned the credibility of his statements.

Sai Reddy had earlier appeared before the CID SIT as a witness in the liquor scam and reportedly revealed crucial details.
