It has been quite some time since people heard about Telugu Desam Party floor leader in the Telangana assembly A Revanth Reddy.
There was not a single day when Revanth did not hit the headlines with his pungent comments against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao.
But now, there is quite a bit silence in the Telangana TDP. Finally, it was revealed that Revanth has been touring the US on a fund-raising mission for the next elections.
For the last few days, he has been gathering support from the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) for the party.
Revanth Reddy told media in Dallas that he would be glad if all the Opposition parties come together along with the TDP to launch an offensive against the Telangana chief minister.
He brushed aside the allegation that the TDP was an Andhra party.
"We shall prove in the next elections how strong we are. But, if the parties opposing the TRS in Telangnana, including the Congress, the YSR Congress and the BJP, join hands with the TDP, they can pull down the TRS government in next elections," he said.
