The movie has naturally come in for criticism from the Congress party. On the ace of it, the move is pretty sensible in that it is high time we stopped having the names of politicians associated with each and every scheme of the government.
By the same yardstick, it would be highly appreciated if the name of NTR is dropped from many of the government projects in operation.
NTR was a highly successful politician from a certain community who made that community’s prosperity his principal agenda. By no means was he a leader acceptable to all sections of Telugu people.
And by the way, with so many pressing issues on hand, it is remarkable that the government finds time to pass such GO’s.
