Raju's Political Retirement Affects TDP?

There is talk that former Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju is considering quitting politics. He is not actively participating in TDP activities, mostly staying in Hyderabad and occasionally visiting Vizianagaram.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju's behavior during this election period is raising suspicions, and he is reportedly angry with the attitude of the TDP leadership.

It is said that Ashok Gajapathi Raju asked for two tickets for his family to contest but is now contemplating a drastic decision based on information received from TDP leaders that only one ticket is available.

Initially, Ashok was asked to contest for the Assembly, but now they are considering him for the MP seat of Vizianagaram. Ashok is expected to field his daughter Aditi Gajapathiraj for the Assembly, but the high command is opposed to it.

The high command is considering giving the Assembly seat to a BC candidate, while Jana Sena is also seeking the same seat.

Observing these developments, rumors suggest there is a strategy to gradually diminish the influence of the Ashok family in Vizianagaram. Ashok is said to be upset with these developments and may soon announce his political retirement.

Despite this, the TDP high command is attempting to nominate a BC candidate, a former MLA, to contest for the Vizianagaram seat, much to the insult of Ashok Gajapathi Raju.

Sympathizers of Ashok Gajapathi Raju are reportedly furious over this, criticizing the high command for their handling of a senior party member like Ashok, who has emerged as an influential figure in Vizianagaram district politics.

They argue that Ashok's withdrawal from politics could pose a problem for the TDP in the district.
