Films like Nuvvu Naaku Nachav speak of her immense popularity at the time. But her love affair with a young hero totally ruined her career and she was almost on the brink of suicide.
In fact, in a rather intriguing incident, she slipped off the stairs and was severely hurt on the head. She had to shave off her hair and after recovery she completed Andala Ramudu with Sunil.
Now, Aarti Agarwal is once again trying her luck at the box office with Parepalli Bharat’s movie. While Aarti is clear that she cannot regain her past glory, she hopes she will be recognized as a good actor during her second stint.
But she is clear about one thing. Aarti says fate did not spare the young hero who cheated her and that he has been punished for the way he treated her. Years later, he is without a career and is still unmarried, says she.
