The much-hyped meeting between Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada on Thursday turned out to be damp squib in the end.
No one is in a position to explain over what the three-hour long meeting has achieved while all the contentious issues remain the same even as the AP government has arranged a special flight for Pawan to reach Vijayawada from Hyderabad.
Looking at this, political analysts sensed a matter of urgency between Pawan and Naidu and for that reason he was arranged a special aircraft.
Finally, when Pawan came before the media after the meeting and told that he came just to congragulate Naidu for successful conduct on Amaravati foundation laying ceremony on Dasara to which he could not make it to his film shooting, it was the turn of everyone to wonder and question themselves whether does that require to arrange a special aircraft and spend lakhs of rupees of public money.
Even with regard to acquisition of lands for Amaravati, Pawan could simply secure 'assurances' and 'promises' from Naidu who told him that the government will not acquire lands forcibly and will wait till a consensus arrives on this issue.
Pawan also stated that the issue of GHMC elections has not come up in their meeting and as such the question of any tie-ups for GHMC polls arise at this point of time.
Interestingly, Pawan told media that he had no enough finances to convert Jana Sena into a full-fledged political party and expand in both AP and TS.
Now, one may wonder what Pawan has achieved after he was flown to Vijayawada by a special aircraft.
