Pawan Kalyan’s statement that he is open to alliances with any party except the Congress has given rise to speculation that he could join hands with the TDP in future.
There is a certain section of the public who believe that Jagan and Kiran will ultimately go back to the fold of the Congress. Hence their respective Parties are a severe blow to the TDP.
Against this backdrop, there is the need for Naidu to step up with a counter stratagem.
As of now, a majority of the Kapu community is with Jagan. Pawan’s Jana Sena has the potential to eat into 4-5% of the urban youth vote of the Kapu community. This can decisively tilt the scales in favor of TDP in that particular constituency.
For example: Vangaveeti Radha is now in YSRCP. Pawan’s Party will now lure some of the community voters away from his kitty and it will only favor TDP.
With Kamma industrialist PVP said to be backing Pawan Kalyan, the rumors further get strengthened as it is nothing short of a miracle for members from this community to take on one of their own.
