It looks like power star and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan has suddenly discovered that Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao is more daring and dashing chief minister than his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu.
At a time when Naidu is struggling to put up a strong fight with the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre, KCR has not only attacked the NDA government and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but also announced his plan to launch a third front to take on the Congress and the BJP.
So, Pawan seems to have come to a conclusion that it would be better to align with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and continue politics here, rather than helping Naidu to come to power again in Andhra Pradesh.
In any case, people of Andhra have stopped taking Pawan Kalyan seriously in politics and so, he has little say in AP politics.
If he can stay back in Hyderabad and do some political activity, he can at least have some presence in Telangana. That is precisely why, he is pampering KCR by extending his support to KCR’s decision to enter national politics.
“KCR is a capable leader. He has the ability to steer the third front in national politics. He has fair understanding of national and local issues,” Pawan said.
He expressed his intention to join the third front to be floated by KCR.
“If KCR takes the lead, regional parties like ours will play a key role in national politics. So, I will stand by KCR,” he Pawan said.
