No Takers For Prashant Kishor In North?

No Takers For Prashant Kishor In North?

With the Centre gearing up to hold simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and the state assemblies all over the country by 2018 end, the election season has almost begun. All the political parties are getting ready for the mega battle.

However, there seems to be no takers for popular political strategist Prashant Kishor and his Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC) from any of the major parties in the north for the next elections.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party has dumped him after 2014 elections, the Congress party has started avoiding him after its miserable performance in the Uttar Pradesh elections early this year and it attributed the debacle to the faulty political strategies of Prashant.

That no political party consulted Prashant in the most prestigious Gujarat assembly elections scheduled to be held in December this year and also Himachal Pradesh elections a few weeks before shows that Prashant has lost his demand completely.

And if the Congress or the BJP has to engage his services for the next general elections, they could have approached him by now since it requires a long-term preparation.

So, as of now, Prashant has only one client on hand – it is YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, for which he is working as a chief election strategist. It was admitted by Prashant himself in his social media.

For a man who played a major role in bringing Narendra Modi to power at the Centre in 2014 and Nitish Kumar in Bihar in 2015, it is really a testing time.

If he fails to bring Jagan to power in the next assembly elections in AP, Prashant will fade out from the scene for ever, say observers.
