The Andhra Pradesh Police Association President Srinivas has demanded that YS Jagan should apologize for his remarks on the DGP Ramudu.
YSRCP Spokesperson Ambati Rambabu has mocked this demand.
“There is absolutely no reason for YS Jagan to apologize. It is a fact that the DGP is behaving like a TDP activist whereas Chandrababu himself is acting as the DGP.
“The faith of the people in the police system has been eroded after Ramudu has taken over. I personally spoke to the DGP on the attack on me in ‘Mupalla’. However, no action has been taken to date.
“Similarly, they have not nabbed the miscreants who burnt the farmers’ fields in Tulluru,” said Ambati.
He also ridiculed the Naidu government over its failed loan waiver programme citing the issue of a farmer who attempted suicide over this at Naidu’s rally yesterday.
