Strongly condemning the letter written by KVP Ramachandra Rao to the centre on possible inundation of Amaravathi in case of floods, TDP senior leader Y V B Rajendra Prasad alleged that YSRC party is indulging in false propaganda on new capital city.
Speaking to media at NTR trust bhavan here, Rajendra Prasad said in spite of disinformation by Jagan, KVP and Botcha, Raghuveera Reddy on new capital city, the construction of Amaravathi would not be stopped.
Taking a dig at those who are levelling false charges, Rajendra Prasad said Amravathi is being built with latest technology.
KVP should show any place which sans of natural calamity, he said and questioned ‘can we leave coastal areas which are flood-torn places’.
On the side of Kurnool, Tungabhadra river is there, and Musi river is there in Hyderabad. ‘Can we leave these cities’, the TDP leader asked.
Jagan and KVP should desist from making false and untrue statementa and disinformation, otherwise they will have to face people’s ire, he said.
