Neither KCR, nor CBN qualified to lead a third front

After becoming the CM, KCR has now become even more ambitious and set his sights on the ultimate jackpot of all: the post of Prime Minister. He is now meeting politicians of various political parties to stitch together an anti-BJP, Congress coalition.

On the other hand, increasingly isolated in Andhra Pradesh and wiped out in Telangana, Chandrababu is also looking at a prominent role in national politics to settle scores with his current enemy, the BJP.

However, the truth of the matter is that neither Chandrababu nor KCR are qualified to lead a third front.

While KCR is a kid in this aspect, Chandrababu no longer commands stature at the national level which he once had during the Vajpayee government.

Coming to KCR, he divided Andhra Pradesh solely for the purpose of becoming Chief Minister and for this reason, divided forever, the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Banking on the politics of hatred and using language that took political discourse to an all-time low, KCR has created an unbreakable Berlin war between the Andhras and the Telanganites.

Such a person calling for constructive politics and the need for a third front that will integrate the people of the nation is nothing but a joke.

As for Chandrababu, after getting caught red-handed in the Stephenson case, he has lost credibility and stature at the State as well as national level. There is another equally valid reason why he will not make a good leader anymore.

He was voted to power in 2014 because people expected him to repeat his earlier performance as Chief Minister when Hyderabad expanded into a prominent city. But four years of his rule has been nothing but a disaster.

Therefore, because he played a major role in the Vajpayee-led NDA earlier does not mean that he will do a good job this time around if he chooses to form a third front or be part of one.
