Addressing people in Vizag, where he participated in several events, AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu expressed happiness that he could waiver loans.
He said he had proved that he could actually waiver loans, though there were quite a few people who doubted his ability and commitment.
He also claimed that AP was the first state to have facilitated loans waivers amounting to such huge amounts.
Though the Central government did waiver loans in the past, it was for a very small amount, said Babu.
But the AP government could successfully waiver 1.5 lakh loans, he said. Similarly, the government waivered loans of up to Rs 1 lakh for each DWACRA member, claimed Babu.
After listening to his speech, one is bound to wonder if the issue has been resolved. But looks like Babu intended to say that he was working towards finding a viable solution to the issue of loan waivers.
